So who here knows of a decent torrent client to use? I haven't used one in a long time and figured that I would take advantage of my universities open wifi network before they start logging usernames again.

Have some GC8 and KPGC110 love. . .

uTorrent is a great client, although most universities limit the bandwidth on torrent traffic. May as well try!

uTorrent.

Make sure to let it finish seeding, though, or bad things will happen.

I go with torretz.com to get the torrents and then Vuze for the downloading. Its worked perfectly fine for years.

I'm going to be sitting in the library for about the next 12 hours, so I may as well try it.

uTorrent or BitTorrent

I use BitTorrent as my downloader and generally find content on kickasstorrents. Never really had a problem doing it. I usually set my upload rate to something fairly low though to help hide my tracks.

This is what I do. By clicking upload limit a couple times you can minimize it

Transmission is good, and it's open source. I switched to Deluge (also open source) as it's a bit more powerful.

Anyone know if there is anything out there that took over from Racing Underground?

deluge. I'm tired of uTorrent's annoying interface changes and annoying ads popping up after I disable them.
